As an artist goes through a book, he can imagine a colour palette which corresponds to the era in question, as well as the paintings that inspired the artists of that time.
This drawing takes us on a journey through the history of ancient Mesopotamia. Our research into the ethnic culture of this region, with its remarkable legends, and into world culture, takes us into another philosophy of drawing style and colour.
The little Iranian horses become the main characters; they are very gentle and tender with each other, close together, side by side, like parents accompanied by their children following their nomadic path.
The mix of textures and waves of vegetation around the dunes gives us a sense of freedom and nature.
The drawing itself creates a horizontal and parallel meditative movement that mirrors the movements of the horses in the meadows.
The rhythm of the Caspian silhouettes is reminiscent of ethnic ornaments from the Caspian Sea region.
The main colour is a neutral, powdery grey-beige that reflects the many variations in this palette, which blends perfectly with both warm and cool colours and lends itself to all kinds of different spaces.
